History

The 66 Chevelle arrived April 12, 1999.  I'd been looking for over a year for a numbers matching SS like this one.     I found it on the traderonline website.  It pretty much sat in a barn in Washington since '69, hence the very low mileage (18K).

This is how the thing showed up at my house after been shipped cross country.  As you can see, the previous owner disassembled it and had begun to restore it.   Obviously this is going to take awhile, I say 2 years, my wife says 5.  We'll see.   (Update: It's been close to 6 years now, I'm a little over half done, so much for estimates)

It was missing quite a few parts, especially from the engine. It was also missing the entire interior.  One of the many disadvantages of buying a project off the internet. Yes, that's the engine block in the passenger compartment.
